NEW SERVICE & MEMBER SERVICES

NEW SERVICE

To establish new service you will need to visit your local Central Electric office (See LOCATIONS) and fill out a membership application. There is a $25.00 membership fee. For new service you may also be required to put up a security deposit. The amount of deposit you will be required to pay will be determined by your credit rating and the type of service. A service fee of $35.00 for each meter will also be collected. There is a minimum of a two day wait from the time you come in to establish service and when it will be connected, unless construction is required.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Central Electric offers you four convenient ways to pay your power bill.

  1. Check or cash
  2. Bank Draft - your bank can electronically transfer funds each month to pay your electric bill. You will continue to receive your monthly bill, and on your bill's due date we will draft the amount due from your account. Bank Draft eliminates the cost of stamps and envelopes, prevents late payment fees and saves valuable time.
  3. Online Bill Payment - Central Electric members have the opportunity to pay your bill over the internet using an online bill pay service. For detailed instructions select this link to PAY YOUR BILL HERE.
  4. Over the telephone - Central Electric members have the opportunity to pay their bill over the telephone using a billing pay service. For detailed instructions select this link to PAY YOUR BILL HERE.
